Engine won't start

• Is there voltage on the electrical busses/voltammeter? (to drive the starter)
• Is the engine start selector set to the correct side?
• Are the Run-Crank-Stop switches set to RUN?
• Are the intake covers still in the engine intakes?
• Is the main fuel valve switch set to ON?
• Is the condition lever at the TAXI position or higher?
• Are the fuel pump fuses pushed in?
• Are the batteries weak? Is the engine spinning to at least 12%?
• Does the main fuel tank have any fuel in it?
• Are the ignition switches in AUTO.

Plane won't move forward with full throttle

• Are the nosewheel chocks still in place?
• Is the GPU still connected?
• Are the prop locks still engaged? If so, then you'll observe.
  • No significant torque with full throttle
  • Engine RPM goes to > 103% RPM with full throttle
  • Minimal fuel flow increase with throttle

Hardware out of sync at start

• We dont know where your hardware is UNTIL you move it.
  • Wiggle all controls at the start of the simulation.
  • We ASSUME some controls are in certain positions.
    • Gear lever down when starting a simulation, etc.
    • Flaps in the UP position, etc.
